Waterstone Law Group LLP was founded in Chilliwack, British Columbia in 1994.

From its inception, Waterstone Law Group LLP has been dedicated to the provision of "big city" quality legal services, given promptly and efficiently, at a cost which is competitive in the rural communities in which we practice. Through our commitment to this goal we have gained the confidence of our clients, and this confidence has provided the impetus behind our growth from a two lawyer firm at inception to one today consisting of thirteen lawyers and articled students and more than twenty support staff, with offices in both Chilliwack and Langley, British Columbia.

Shane was born and raised in Cambridge, Ontario.  After completing his Bachelor of Arts in Honours History from the University of Waterloo in 2003, Shane attended the University of British Columbia and obtained his law degree in 2007.  Shane articled with a London, Ontario firm before joining Waterstone Law Group LLP as an associate in 2008.  Shane loves music trivia, sports and the outdoors.  He enjoys playing hockey, rugby, squash, baseball and hiking, as well as many other activities.

Shane's practice focuses on general business law including commercial lending, corporate transactions, real estate, will preparation and estate planning.

Shane has experience advising clients in a variety of corporate transactions from initial incorporation to corporate reorganizations and asset/share purchase.  He assists clients with the negotiation and preparation of commercial contracts including shareholders' agreements, asset/share purchase agreements, commercial leases and security agreements.  He acts for both borrowers and lenders in the area of commercial lending.
